First Aid at Work (FAW) Annual Refresher Training - 100% Online

Pro Online Training Ltd provides convenient online refresher training covering all topics relating to First Aid at Work. Our training meets HSE recommendations as an annual refresher training programme in between the three year certification dates. Online training allows a flexible approach to meeting the recommendations which remove the need to travel to conventional courses. You will be issued with a wall certificate and a wallet card to prove you have completed the training.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements state:

“HSE strongly recommends that first-aiders undertake annual refresher training, over half a day, during any three-year FAW/EFAW certification period. Although not mandatory, this will help qualified first-aiders maintain their basic skills and keep up to date with any changes to first-aid procedures” (source)

Who Requires First Aid at Work Training?

First aid at work refresher training is strongly recommended by the HSE for anyone who is a first aider in the workplace. This includes 1 day EFAW, 3 day FAW and other first aiders.

First aid requirements are laid down by the HSE first aid regulations 1981. This regulation applies to all workplaces in Great Britain, including those with less than five employees, and to the self employed. It is important to comply with these regulations.

The HSE do not approve any Annual Refresher course supplied by any First Aid Training Company they only strongly recommended them, unlike the three yearly statutory 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work and 3 day First Aid at Work and its 2 Day Requalification Course which are HSE Approved.

This course covers all the required content to meet the annual refresher recommendations and you will receive a certificate on completion. What is involved in the refresher training programme?

The refresher training is comprised of a series of instructor-led training videos to refresh your skills to meet the HSE’s recomendations.
